2024-2025 Team Previews:
West
Corning Hawks (Class A)
Head Coach: Anthony Furstoss, 8th year
Key Athletes: Joey Crisco (fresh.), Marvin Reimsnyder (sr.), Brenden Jardin-Reed (sr.), JP Sierzant (jr.), and Mark Hong (sr.)
Team Goals: Win Section IV Class A, make a run at an undefeated dual meet season, send 2+ relays and 1+ individual(s) to the State Meet.

Elmira Express (Class A)
Head Coach: Keith Ess, 8th year
Key Athletes: Aiden Ranck (soph.), Zxander Gabriel (sr.), Jace Barr (jr.)
Team Goals: Our team goals this year are all about best times/scores every time we enter the pool. With a young and small team, it is going to be about making sure we enter the water with the mindset that I am going to beat my time every time I swim. Having swimmers enter sectionals in the best shape so they can compete with pride. We also want to have great results at the invitationals that we plan on attending throughout the year.
Last Season: Finished 4th in STAC West division and 6th at Section IV Class A Championship.
Horseheads Blue Raiders (Class A)
Head Coach: Chris Bankaitis, 4th year (6th overall)

Team Goals: We're always going to try to win the Section IV Class A Championship, but this year will certainly be difficult to achieve the Four-peat. Part of that comes from a goal to return four swimmers in every event. We're also eyeing a few state cuts for our veterans as well. We've been fortunate in recent years to have bona fide state qualifiers on our roster, all of which have now graduated, so this year will be a much more rigorous test of our depth. Bottom line, if there is improvement, if there are best times, if there are close and enjoyable races, then the year is a success.
Last Season: Won STAC West division and Section IV Class A Championship. 200 Medley Relay, 200 Freestyle Relay, 400 Freestyle Relay, Shoonfon Li (200 IM and 100 Breaststroke), and Kaden TenEyck (50 Freestyle and 100 Freestyle) won Section IV Class A Championships.
