Team Goals: We always set our team goals very high. We expect to expect to either win, or at least be very competitive, in every match while also getting as many players as we can into the top ten at some point in the season. With 27 players that may be difficult to do this year, but we will try!
Last Season: Finished 2nd in STAC West division.

Elmira Express (Class A)

Team Goals: All 12 players are 1st or 2nd year players. Team goals are to improve each day and to love the game of tennis. Improve our strokes. Improve serves. We are looking forward to winning sets and to win a match or two.

Team Goals: Have a successful season and hopefully send players to States again. A more important goal is for each player to develop both on and off the court. I want each player to have a terrific experience being part of this great team.
Last Season: Won STAC West division. Defeated Susquehanna Valley in Semi-final and Vestal to win STAC Championship. Won Section IV Class A Team Championship. Defeated Seton to win Section IV Division 1 Team Championship. Defeated Washingtonville (IX) in NYSPHSAA Subregional, lost to Scarsdale (I) in Regional Final. Liubov Kryshchuk won Section IV Class A Singles Championship. Kryshchuk won Section IV Singles State Qualifier and advanced to the Round of 16 at NYSPHSAA Singles State Championship. Lily Wang / Marina Okada won Section IV Class A Doubles Championship. Wang / Okada finished 2nd at Section IV Doubles State Qualifiers and advanced to the Round of 32 at NYSPHSAA Doubles State Championship.

Learn life skills through playing tennis. Actively apply lessons learned in the sport into everyday life.

Last Season: Finished 3rd in STAC Metro division. Defeated Susquehanna Valley in Semi-final and Chenango Valley to win Section IV Division 2 Team Championship. Lost to Spackenkill (IX) in NYSPHSAA Subregional.

Union-Endicott Tigers (Class A)
Head Coach: Steve Tibensky, 6th year (8th overall)

Team Goals: Improve each day. Compete for a STAC Metro division title and qualify several girls for state qualifier tournament. We have 12 seniors graduating and one of my goals is to have several underclassmen improve and be ready to compete for a starting spot by season’s end.
Last Season: Finished 2nd in STAC Metro division. Giada Circensi won Section IV Class B Singles Championship.

Vestal Golden Bears (Class B)
Head Coach: Evan Picciano, 1st year (7th overall)
Key Players: The six seniors along with all returning players
Team Goals: Look to be one of the best teams, if not the best team, in the area and win the STAC Championship.
Last Season: Won STAC Metro division. Defeated Seton in Semi-final, lost to Ithaca in STAC Championship. Won Section IV Class B Team Championship. Aviva Kaminsky / Aashna Ashok won Section IV Class B Doubles Championship. Kaminsky / Ashok won Section IV State Qualifiers and advanced to the Round of 32 at the NYSPHSAA Doubles State Championship.

Adelie Wilson won Section IV Class C Singles Championship. Wilson finished 2nd at Section IV Singles State Qualifiers and advanced to the Round of 32 at NYSPHSAA Singles State Championship. Kaida Warwick / Aubrey Staub won Section IV Class C Doubles Championship.

Owego River Hawks (Class B)
Head Coach: Erica Haray, 9th year (17th overall)

Team Goals: One of our program goals is to introduce as many students to tennis as possible, from the 3-5th graders who attended our Hawk’s Nest Tennis Camps this summer, through our modified and high school students. For our team this season, our goals include improving our individual skills, competing as much as possible, having fun as a team, and further developing our players' love of the game of tennis. It’s a sport they’ll be able to play the rest of their lives.
Last Season: Finished 4th in STAC Central division.

Seton Catholic Saints (Class A)

Team Goals: We’re working on doubles strategy and demonstrating grit on the court!
Last Season: Won STAC Central division. Lost to Vestal in STAC Semi-final. Natalie Crowley finished 3rd at Section IV Singles State Qualifiers and advanced to the Round of 32 at NYSPHSAA Singles State Championship. Joy Neureuter / Ann McNair finished 3rd at Section IV Doubles State Qualifiers and advanced to the Round of 32 at NYSPHSAA Doubles State Championship.

East
Norwich Purple Tornado (Class B)

Susquehanna Valley Sabers (Class C)
Head Coach: Amanda Spottek, 5th year (9th overall)

Team Goals: For every player to finish the season more skilled, physically and mentally in their level of tennis. I try to develop depth in our lineup, no steep drop-off in skill level at positions 5-10. This sets us up to be competitive in team tennis. We were knocked out last year by Chenango Valley. We would like to represent Section IV in Team Tennis Regionals this year.
Last Season: Won STAC East division. Lost to Ithaca in STAC Semi-final.

Windsor Black Knights (Class C)
Head Coach: Rebecca Molloy, 1st year
Key Players: Makena King (sr.), Evy Cease (sr.), Hailey Smallacombe (sr.), Jaelynn Dailey (jr.), Avah Gill (soph.), Sophia Snowball (fresh.), Cassandra Groome (fresh.), Lauren Brey (fresh.)
Team Goals: Each player will work individually and as a team to improve their game on the court. I want tennis to teach athletes that a strong work ethic, motivation, and drive will help them get far on and off the court.
Last Season: Finished 2nd in STAC East division.
