Corning Hawks (Class AAA)
Head Coach: Barb Smith, 4th year (13th overall)
Key Players: Gracee Work (jr.), Isabelle Moon (sr.), Losseki (Sam) Molingou (fresh.), Hannah Smith (sr.)
Team Goals: Work together 100% as a team and individually be at least 1% better EVERY day! Win another sectional title. Make it back to states!
Last Season: Finished 2nd in STAC West division. Defeated Elmira and Ithaca to win Section IV Class AA Championship. Defeated Pine Bush in Subregional and Mamaroneck to win NYSPHSAA Regional Final. Finished 4th (0-6) in pool play at NYSPHSAA State Championship.
Elmira Express (Class AAA)
Head Coach: Danielle Dille, 1st year
Key Players: Madisen Jones (jr.), Piper Hooey (sr.), Addisyn Chorney (jr.), Ava Dennard (jr.), Austyn Johnson (sr.)
Team Goals: We have a few team goals this year. The first two aiding in our success at achieving the last two: Have no more than two missed serves per game. Have 4/5 perfect passes to the setter. Have a .500 record. WIN SECTIONALS.
Last Season: Finished 4th in STAC West division. Lost to Corning in Section IV Class AA Semi-final.
Horseheads Blue Raiders (Class AA)
Head Coach: Megyan Merrill, 1st year (2nd overall)
Key Players: Kiersten McCarthy (sr.), Adrianna Calbi (jr.)
Team Goals: Work on communication, be a strong team mentally, and go further than we did last year in sectionals.
Last Season: Finished 3rd in STAC West division. Lost to Union-Endicott in Section IV Class A Semi-final.
Ithaca Little Red (Class AA)
Head Coach: Sydney Trumble, 2nd year (3rd overall)
Key Players: Ade Miller (sr.), Lucy Walker (sr.)
Team Goals: Last year we went undefeated in the regular season and played for STAC and Section IV Class AA titles. We lost six seniors, who played in every position for us, leaving us with three returners this season. We have a great group of young athletes rounding out our team this year, and it will be exciting to see where this season takes us! Our goal is to go game by game, treating every night 0-0, then hoping to be 1-0 when the night ends.
Last Season: Won STAC West division. Defeated Owego in Semi-final, lost to Vestal in STAC Championship. Lost to Corning in Section IV Class AA Championship.
Metro
Binghamton Patriots (Class AA)
Head Coach: Samantha Hadden, 4th year

Team Goals: Get better as a team and win games.
Last Season: Finished 5th in STAC Metro division. Did not qualify for sectionals.
Johnson City Wildcats (Class A)
Head Coach: Alisha Pellicciotti, 3rd year (4th overall)
Key Players: Annabel Burke (jr.), Emma Kot (jr.), Delaney Gaughan (sr.)
Team Goals: Be the most conditioned volleyball team in the league, compete well, and make it to sectionals.
Last Season: Finished 4th in STAC Metro division. Did not qualify for sectionals.
Maine-Endwell Spartans (Class A)
Head Coach: Kathy Greene, 5th year
Key Players: Aleciyah Brodley (sr.), Carly Siock (sr.), Emily Janik (sr.), Haley Piester (sr.)
Team Goals: Focus on teamwork, positivity, and sportsmanship on a journey to win Section IV and State Class A Championships.
Last Season: Finished 2nd in STAC Metro division. Defeated Owego to win Section IV Class B Championship. Defeated Spackenkill in Subregional, lost to Hendrick Hudson in NYSPHSAA Regional Final.
Union-Endicott Tigers (Class AA)
Head Coach: Paige Franey, 26th year
Key Players: Jade Taylor (jr.), Harper Phinney (sr.), Taylor McManus (sr.), Aliza Post (jr.)
Team Goals: Our first goal is to mesh as a new team. We have a large age range from freshman to seniors on our team and we are working every day to become a cohesive team all working towards the same goals. As far as a volleyball goal, we want to be a competitive group who goes out each practice and game and plays at our top level.
Last Season: Finished 3rd in STAC Metro division. Defeated Horseheads in Semi-final, lost to Vestal in Section IV Class A Championship.
Vestal Golden Bears (Class AA)
Head Coach: Joe Nemecek, 24th year
Key Players: Aubrey Baker (sr.), Haley Russell (sr.), Julia Sage (sr.), Ethnie Calvert (sr.), Hannah Nemecek (jr.), Leila Toric (soph.)
Team Goals: Win the STAC Metro division, get into the STAC playoffs, and win a Section IV Class AA title. We have won the Class A title the last two years. This year we will be competing in AA, but the goal is still the same.
Last Season: Won STAC Metro division. Defeated Owego in Semi-final and Ithaca to win STAC Championship. Defeated Union-Endicott to win Section IV Class A Championship. Lost to Cornwall in NYSPHSAA Subregional.
Central
Chenango Forks Blue Devils (Class B)
Head Coach: Samantha Thrasher, 4th year (8th overall)
Key Players: Jessica Stone (sr.), Emily Johnson (jr.), Maggie Warpus (soph.)
Team Goals: Give 110% on that court to go home and say we gave our all and working together as a team with high positive attitudes! Our biggest goal is to make it to the Section IV Class B Championship and win!
Last Season: Finished 2nd in STAC Central division. Lost to Trumansburg in Section IV Class C Quarterfinal.
Chenango Valley Warriors (Class B)
Head Coach: Sue Edwards, 27th year (34th overall)
Key Players: Nevaeh Masso (jr.), Gabrielle Cashman (soph.), Olivia Cashman (soph.), Bella McKown (sr.)
Team Goals: Consistency, execution, and teamwork. We are NOT chasing wins; we are CHASING EXCELLENCE!
Last Season: Finished 3rd in STAC Central division. Lost to Waverly in Section IV Class C Quarterfinal.
Owego River Hawks (Class A)
Head Coach: Abbey Manning, 2nd year (5th overall)
Key Players: Maggie Hamed (fresh.), Lexi Herceg (jr.), Logan Georgia (jr.), Michaela Terry (jr.)
Team Goals: First, we have been creating an environment where we can create a growth mindset, rather than a fixed. This helps us to grow as a team and individually; in all aspects: physically and mentally. Second, we will continue to have energy all through the season! Long-term goals that we are determined to achieve are STAC Central champions and to bring back STAC and Section IV Class A championships.
Last Season: Won STAC Central division. Lost to Vestal in STAC Semi-final. Defeated Windsor in Semi-final, lost to Maine-Endwell in Section IV Class B Championship.
Waverly Wolverines (Class B)
Head Coach: Hailee Herc, 1st year
Key Players: Lillie Kirk (jr.), Ashland Croft (sr.), Erica Ryck (sr.), Brilynne Belles (soph.)
Team Goals: Build a culture and program that has strong fundamental skills in volleyball and to push players to be strong female leaders, on and off the court. Make a strong push to win the Section IV Class B Championship.
Last Season: Competed in the Interscholastic Athletic Conference (IAC). Won IAC South Large School division. Lost to Lansing in IAC Large School Championship. Defeated Chenango Valley in Quarterfinal, finished 4th (0-6) in pool play at Section IV Class C Semi-final.
East
Norwich Purple Tornado (Class B)
Head Coach: Maureen Clarke, 2nd year (5th overall)

Team Goals: See the players grow both as a team and individually.
Last Season: Finished 4th in STAC East division. Did not qualify for sectionals.
Oneonta Yellow Jackets (Class B)
Head Coach: Lee Ferrara, 20th year (23rd overall)

Team Goals: Qualify for sectionals.
Last Season: Won STAC East division. Lost to Ithaca in STAC Semi-final. Defeated Newark Valley in Quarterfinal and finished 2nd (4-2) in pool play Semi-finals, lost to Lansing in Section IV Class C Championship.
Susquehanna Valley Sabers (Class B)
Head Coach: Gabriella Amelio, 2nd year (6th overall)

Team Goals: Further develop our new team culture and strive for a more competitive atmosphere, while aiming to make sectionals.
