West
Corning Hawks (Class AA)
Head Coach: Christopher Clark, 6th year
Key Players: Sam Masaki (jr.)
Team Goals: Continue to improve. Having a very young squad allows us to potentially have the same exact team for the next three seasons. This year is all about working on our games, improving, and setting ourselves up for future success in the next few years.
Last Season: Won STAC West division. Finished 2nd at STAC Championship and 3rd at Section IV Class A Championship. Nashant Lahiri finished 5th at STAC Championship, 2nd at Section IV Class A Championship, and 71st at NYSPHSAA State Championship. Jack Creath finished 55th at NYSPHSAA State Championship.
Elmira Express (Class A)
Head Coach: Chris Sayers, 20th year
Key Players: Brady Magliocca (sr.), Robert Cavalier (sr.), Jackson Cavalier (soph.), Ben Rhode (sr.)
Team Goals: We are in a very competitive division including Horseheads, Corning, and Ithaca, but we hope to be in the running for a STAC West division title this year.
Last Season: Finished 5th at Section IV Class A Championship. Ben Rhode finished 5th and Brady Magliocca 10th at STAC Championship.
Horseheads Blue Raiders (Class AA)
Head Coach: Christine Fischer, 1st year
Key Players: Jacob Staats (sr.), Jack Fesetch (jr.), Mason Holloway (jr.)
Team Goals: Overall, the team is young, but each experience this season will strengthen our players on and off the course and pave the way to continued team and individual success within the program.
Last Season: Finished 7th at Section IV Class A Championship. Jacob Staats finished 9th at STAC Championship.
Ithaca Little Red (Class A)
Head Coach: Dan Miller, 24th year
Key Players: Rowan Hinrichsen (soph.)
Team Goals: Be in the mix for the STAC West division! Hopefully we can compete in real important matches in October and have a chance to compete for a STAC Championship! With that said, we need to learn, compete, and finish in our matches in September!
Last Season: Finished 6th at Section IV Class A Championship. J.T. Thomforde finished 3rd at Section IV Class A Championship.
Metro
Binghamton Patriots (Class A)
Head Coach: Andrew Hull, 2nd year (8th overall)
Key Players: Sam Ligas (jr.), Dom Bernthon (soph.), Brady McManus (soph.)
Team Goals: Be in the mix for winning the STAC Metro and STAC Championship as a team.
Individually qualify for Section IV Individual Tournament.
Last Season: Finished 8th at Section IV Class A Championship.
Johnson City Wildcats (Class B)
Head Coach: Joe Mars, 10th year
Key Players: Chris Mack (sr.), Dominic Marra (sr.), David Holbert (fresh.), Liam Pendergast (8th grade), Tamir Solomon (8th grade), Renner Deemie (7th grade)
Team Goals: Improve in team score throughout the season, whereas individuals each golfer strives to get more consistent with every round. We have new golfers to the game through Johnson City Summer Enrichment who will be competing in the future.
Last Season: Ryan Fendick finished 3rd at STAC Championship.
Maine-Endwell Spartans (Class B)
Head Coach: Rob Krowiak, 4th year
Key Players: Blaise Brixner (soph.), Joey Dell (sr.), Chase Buckley (fresh.), Tino Shattuck (soph.).
Team Goals: Compete for the STAC Metro, STAC, and Section IV Class B Championships.
Last Season: Finished 4th at Section IV Class A Championship. Blaise Brixner finished 55th at NYSPHSAA State Championship. Tino Shattuck finished 10th at STAC Championship.
Union-Endicott Tigers (Class A)
Head Coach: Matt Morley, 5th year (15th overall)
Key Players: Dante Bertoni (sr.), Matt Folli (sr.), Drew Karedes (sr.), Ryan Schappert (fresh.)
Team Goals: Win the three major team competitions. However, our goals are process orientated on a daily basis.
Last Season: Won STAC Metro, STAC, and Section IV Class A Championships. Dante Bertoni won STAC, Section IV Class A, and NYSPHSAA State Championships. Dylan Mollo finished 4th at STAC Championship. Drew Karedes finished 10th at STAC Championship and 5th at Section IV Class A Championship.
Vestal Golden Bears (Class A)
Head Coach: Nick Barney, 2nd year
Key Players: Bennett Snyder (jr.), Justin Alvord (jr.), Logan Kim (jr.)
Team Goals: Improve each and every day.
Last Season: Finished 3rd at STAC Championship and 2nd at Section IV Class A Championship. Bennett Snyder finished 89th at NYSPHSAA State Championship. Justin Alvord finished 4th at Section IV Class A Championship.
Central
Chenango Forks Blue Devils (Class C)
Head Coach: Colin Edwards, 5th year
Key Players: TJ Testa (sr.), John Maus (sr.), Bauer Maus (8th grade)
Team Goals: Win the STAC Central division, lower our team score in every match we play in, win the Section IV Class C Championship, and have at least one player qualify for the Medalist Tournament in the spring.
Last Season: Won STAC Central division. Finished 4th at STAC Championship. Won Section IV Class C Championship. Trevor Warpus won Section IV Class C Championship. Warpus also finished 2nd at STAC Championship and 57th at NYSPHSAA State Championship. John Maus finished 8th at Section IV Class C Championship.
Chenango Valley Warriors (Class C)
Head Coach: Patrick Collins, 7th year
Key Players: Madden Michalko (soph.), Jimmy Fitzgerald (jr.)
Team Goals: Improve our skills and continue building for the future.
Last Season: Competed as an incomplete team (2 golfers) in the STAC Championship.
Owego River Hawks (Class B)
Head Coach: Chris Evans, 11th year (13th overall)
Key Players: Patrick Tammariello (sr.), Jacob Bensley (jr.), Mason Grippen (jr.), Matt Springsteen (sr.), Talan Schumacher (sr.)
Team Goals: We have 21 players, so competition for playing time will be a lot of fun.
Last Season: Finished 4th at Section IV Class B Championship. Patrick Tammariello finished 4th and Peyton Farrell finished 5th at Section IV Class B Championship.
Seton Catholic Saints (Class B)
Head Coach: Tony Basile, 1st year
Key Players: Chad Haykel (jr.)
Team Goals: Work better on shot selection and course management. This is where we believe we can improve our play most.
Last Season: Won the Section IV Class B Championship. Finished 6th at STAC Championship. Evan Wenzinger won Section IV Class B Championship. Joseph Tiderencel finished 2nd.
East
Norwich Purple Tornado (Class B)
Head Coach: David Branham, 9th year
Key Players: Jacob Dowdall (jr.), Jacob Morris (sr.), Julien Smith (jr.), Aiden Stafford (sr.), Braden Reid (sr.), Matthew Brunick (8th grade), Jackson Sastri (sr.), Carmine Pastore (fresh.)
Team Goals: Defend our STAC East title and win the Section IV Class B Championship.
Last Season: Won STAC East division. Finished 5th at STAC Championship and 2nd at Section IV Class B Championship. Logan Kim finished 7th at STAC Championship. Braden Reid finished 3rd at Section IV Class B Championship.
Oneonta Yellow Jackets (Class C)
Head Coach: George Foti, 3rd year
Key Players: Landon Weaver (8th grade), Matthew Rigas (jr.), Ben Casola (sr.), Aiden Feudi (sr.), Nate Johnson (sr.), Jordan "Spieth" Gallusser (jr.)
Team Goals: Be competitive in every match, while having fun and getting better along the way.
Last Season: Aiden Gelbsman finished 7th at STAC Championship.
Susquehanna Valley Sabers (Class C)
Head Coach: Evan Ligeikis, 5th year
Key Players: Isaac Spottek (sr.), Trent Rose (sr.), Will Kumpon (sr.), Parker Gendron (sr.), Chris Henderson (sr.), and Jake Lasicki (sr.), Jacob Bailey (jr.), Adam Spisak (soph.)
Team Goals: Get better every day. An off-season goal we had and accomplished was to get together at least once per week to play as a team.
Last Season: Competed as an incomplete team (2 golfers) in the STAC Championship.
Windsor Black Knights (Class C)
Head Coach: Joel Bennett, 3rd year
Key Players: Gaven Lang (jr.), Dylan Terrell (fresh.), Andrew Munson (jr.), Carmine Dozoretz (jr.)
Team Goals: Compete in every match and be better golfers by making wise decisions on every shot. Build up our younger players.
Last Season: Finished 3rd at Section IV Class B Championship.
