Team Goals: Overall, we are working towards building a program centered around care, commitment, hard work, and a team first mentality. Sure, everyone wants to win, to be successful at the sectional and state level. Of course, we want that too. However, the emphasis this year is on the process. On putting in the work that will support successes for individual athletes and for the team. We want to champion accomplishments no matter how small or large, that show the process is working and provide that positive feedback to our athletes to help foster a love for running, a love for the sport, and commitment to our program. If we embrace the journey, we will get to our destination.
Last Season:
Boys – Finished 3rd in Section IV Class A Championship. Noah Ruffer (1,500) finished 15th, (Pentathlon) 16th, (Shot Put) 19th, (110 Hurdles) 22nd, and (Long Jump) 26th in NYSPHSAA State Championships. 3,200 Relay won the Section IV Class A Championship.

Dayzin Legare (100) finished 5th and Andrew Ivasyuk (110 Hurdles) finished 21st, (Long Jump) 32nd, and (High Jump) 45th in NYSPHSAA State Championships. Legare (100 and 200), Ivasyuk (110 Hurldes and Shot Put), 400 Relay, and Josh Garrison (Long Jump) won Section IV Class B Championships.
Girls – Won STAC Metro division and Section IV Class B Championships. Emery Guzyk (Pentathlon) finished 12th, (Shot Put) 18th, (100 Hurdles) 28th, and (800) 36th in NYSPHSAA State Championships. Patricia Nester (200), Isabella Cobb (3,000 and 2,000 Steeplechase), and 400 Relay won Section IV Class B Championships.

Vestal Golden Bears (Class B)

Team Goals: Improve individually in each event and put the best roster together in Invitationals, STAC, and Class B Championships, and qualify as many to the State Championships as possible.

Boys – Won the Section IV Class B Championship. Andrew Hudock (High Jump) finished 16th and Liam Cody (800) finished 19th in NYSPHSAA State Championships. Sam Olson (800), Cody (1,600 and 3,200), Tim Smith (400 Hurdles and 3,000 Steeplechase), and Hudock (High Jump) won Section IV Class B Championships.
Girls – Finished 4th in Section IV Class B Championship. Lillian Tripp (Pole Vault) finished 26th in NYSPHSAA State Championship. Audra Mieczkowski (400) and Tripp (Pole Vault) won Section IV Class B Championships.

Girls –Win back-to-back-to-back STAC Central titles. If we do win the division, it will be the 15th divisional championship since CF joined STAC 33 years ago.

Boys – Finished 11th in Section IV Class C Championship.
Girls – Won STAC Central division. Finished 5th in Section IV Class C Championship. 800 Relay finished 17th in NYSPHSAA State Championship.
Chenango Valley Warriors (Class C)
Head Coach: Scott Klein, 15th year (20th overall)

Team Goals: We have a young team, but we have some talented individuals. Try to compete in as many events as possible in the dual meets to gain experience, have fun, and earn points for the team to try to win. Individually, have good performances at invitationals with the goal of qualifying for the State Championships in June.

Boys – Won STAC Central division. Finished 3rd in Section IV Class C Championship. Caleb Barkwell (400 and Long Jump) and Owen O'Brien (Triple Jump) won Section IV Class C Championships.

Boys – Won STAC East division. Finished 2nd in Section IV Class B Championship. Richard Fuller (400), 1,600 Relay, 3,200 Relay, and Lucas Craddock (Triple Jump) won Section IV Class B Championships.
Girls – Finished 5th in Section IV Class B Championship. Shakira Alexander (Discus and Shot Put) won Section IV Class B Championships.

Team Goals:
Boys – Focus on team development and ensuring our athletes have a positive season.
We want our athletes to not just focus on a single event, but to reach out, try new events, and
continue to develop as athletes and a team. We are encouraging our athletes to not just be
track athletes but to be track and field athletes.
Girls – We have quite a few freshmen who moved up to varsity and are showing great promise.
Have them try different events and find their niche. We have some outstanding
seniors and we’re very excited to see how their last year running at the high school level goes.
Last Season:
Boys – Finished 15th in Section IV Class C Championship.
Girls – Finished 8th in Section IV Class C Championship. Brynn Hogan (800) finished 18th and (1,500) 22nd in NYSPHSAA State Championships. Hogan (800) and 3,200 Relay won Section IV Class C Championships.
