Team Goals: Try and win STAC and Section IV Class A Championships; failing that we try to advance as many individuals to the state meet as possible.
Boys – We will be relying on three upperclassmen returners to step up as leaders and a core group of underclassmen to embrace the opportunity to be varsity scorers. Vestal and Ithaca are both very deep and talented teams in STAC competition this year, we will need to get better to compete with them for STAC and Sectional titles.
Girls – We have a large influx of hard working talented freshmen to complement our returners. Ithaca is loaded with talent, and the team to beat in the Section for sure. Hopefully, we can close the gap on them across the course of the season.
Last Season:
Boys – Won STAC West division, STAC Championship, and Section IV Class A Championship. Finished 3rd at NYSPHSAA Class A State Championship. Bryce Hammond won STAC Championship. Christopher Lawson finished 2nd, Nicholas Ferratella 3rd, and Sebastian Boutwell 6th at STAC Championship. Ferratella finished 2nd, Hammond 4th, Boutwell 5th, and Christopher Lawson 6th at Section IV Class A Championship. Hammond finished 18th, Ferratella 23rd, Lawson 42nd, Boutwell 51st, Ashtyn Stark 75th, Graham Wightman 85th, and Elijah Sonner 100th at NYSPHSAA Class A State Championship.
Girls – Finished 2nd at STAC Championship and 3rd at Section IV Class A Championship. Olivia Martinec finished 2nd and Kateland Dininny 8th at STAC Championship. Martinec finished 2nd, Dininny 7th, and Abigail Wagner 9th at Section IV Class A Championship. Martinec finished 28th, Dininny 71st, and Wagner 84th at NYSPHSAA Class A State Championship.

Thomas Ciaravino finished 7th and Titus Patton 9th at STAC Championship. Tyler Hayes finished 2nd, Ciaravino 3rd, Patton 4th, Kevin Middendorf 5th, Oliver Parsons 6th, Joseph Vallone 8th, and Alex Sculley 9th at Section IV Class B Championship. Hayes finished 24th, Ciaravino 28th, Middendorf 32nd, Parsons 50th, Patton 64th, Vallone 65th, and Sculley 73rd at NYSPHSAA State Championship.
Girls – Won STAC Metro division and Section IV Class B Championship. Finished 2nd at STAC Championship and 9th at NYSPHSAA Class B State Championship. Hellen Zhang won Section IV Class B Championship. Zhang finished 4th and Kayla Fletcher 10th at STAC Championship. Leyla Kamil finished 4th, Fletcher 6th, Savanna Ulrich 8th, and Mikayla Silverio 10th at Section IV Class A Championship. Zhang finished 40th, Fletcher 77th, Ulrich 84th, Kamil 91st, Silverio 110th, Charlotte Frye 111th, and Lindsey Steele 114th at NYSPHSAA Class A State Championship.

Chenango Valley Warriors (Class C)

Team Goals:
Boys – Win the section again and head to states. We continue to be a force to be reckoned with, and our team is looking strong. We have a very large team this year as our program's success has brought plenty of new runners in. A team of 27 boys for our size school is impressive.
Girls – Continue to build a competitive girl's program and for Lyla to go after our all-time school record.
Last Season:
Boys – Won Section IV Class C Championship. Finished 5th at STAC Championship and 7th at NYSPHSAA Class C State Championship. Nikhil Datta finished 8th at STAC Championship. Ryan Pepples finished 3rd and Datta 5th at Section IV Class C Championship. Datta finished 24th, Pepples 25th, Anthony Battisti 95th, Caden Hoyt 102nd, Austin Henyan 103rd, Liam Vanvalkenburgh 106th, and Arin Miller 117th at NYSPHSAA Class C State Championship.
Girls – Finished 9th at STAC Championship. Did not have enough athletes to qualify for a team score at Section IV Class C Championship. Lyla Houser finished 2nd at Section IV Class C Championship and 83rd at NYSPHSAA Class C State Championship.
Johnson City Wildcats (Class B)

Boys – Send more than one athlete to the State Meet, and for all our athletes we are looking to peak in November.

Boys – Finished 7th at STAC Championship and 3rd at Section IV Class B Championship. Connor Smith finished 7th at Section IV Class B Championship. Smith finished 79th and Logan Heitner 97th at NYSPHSAA Class B State Championship.
Girls – Did not have enough athletes to qualify for team scores at STAC or Section IV Class B Championships. Emma Gage finished 24th at Section IV Class B Championship.
Owego River Hawks (Class B)

Team Goals: We graduated 7 of our top 10 scorers from our boys and girls teams last year. Our goals are to rebuild a quality program one day at a time!
Last Season:
Boys – Finished 6th at STAC Championship and 2nd at Section IV Class B Championship. Javan Belokur won Section IV Class B Championship. Magavin Allen finished 10th at Section IV Class B Championship. Belokur finished 85th, Allen 106th, and Levi Saunders 111th at NYSPHSAA Class B State Championship.
Girls – Won STAC Central division. Finished 4th at STAC Championship and 2nd at Section IV Class B Championship. Jaelyn Chrysler finished 6th at STAC Championship. Abigail McHugh finished 2nd, Chrysler 3rd, Sarah Heath 5th, and Stella Palladino 7th at Section IV Class B Championship. Chrysler finished 64th, McHugh 75th, Heath 76th, and Palladino 88th at NYSPHSAA Class B State Championship.
Seton Catholic Saints (Class D)

Team Goals: Moving into the STAC has increased the level of competition exponentially. Teams like Corning and the Binghamton schools have much larger numbers to compete against. It will provide us with the best competition the section has to offer allowing us to improve throughout the season. My aspirations for the team are to develop their passion for running, spark their competitive side, and to push every runner to achieve the most they can within the season. I always strive to have as many runners qualify for States as possible.
Last Season:
Boys – Finished 12th at STAC Championship and 4th at Section IV Class C Championship. Chase Hine finished 6th and Hayden Montanye 7th at Section IV Class C Championship. Montanye finished 87th and Hine 97th at NYSPHSAA Class C State Championship.
Girls – Did not have enough athletes to qualify for team scores at STAC or Section IV Class C Championships. Taylor Sinsabaugh finished 21st at Section IV Class C Championship.

Chenango Forks Blue Devils (Class C)

CeCi Kasmarcik finished 7th and Lena Lindow 8th at Section IV Class C Championship. Team Goals: Rebuilding. Simply getting a green team introduced to the cross country culture and training. And, getting at least one athlete to states.
Last Season:
Boys – Won STAC East division. Finished 11th at STAC Championship and 5th at Section IV Class C Championship. Reese Caseman finished 17th at Section IV Class C Championship.
Girls – Did not have enough athletes to qualify for team scores at STAC or Section IV Class C Championships. Addison Rothenberger finished 13th at Section IV Class C Championship.
Susquehanna Valley Sabers (Class C)
Head Coach: Matthew Schneider, 1st year (16th overall)

Boys – Development of a five-man team in which we are finishing top five on a regular basis and getting as many kids to state meet as possible.
Girls – While we have only one girl, she is a senior looking to improve her overall performances and be competitive this season.

Boys – Did not have enough athletes to qualify for team score at STAC Championship. Finished 8th at Section IV Class C Championship. Aidan Skuban finished 4th at STAC Championship, 2nd at Section IV Class C Championship, and 10th at NYSPHSAA Class C State Championship.
