Corning Hawks (Class A)
Head Coach: Tim Ball, 23rd year

Team Goals: We plan to be pretty competitive in the STAC, even though we are fairly young as a team. We should be solid at all four singles and very competitive doubles teams.
Last Season: Finished 2nd in STAC West division.
Elmira Express (Class A)
Head Coach: Rob Arciolla, 1st year

Team Goals: Instill pride and culture into our Elmira Express Girl's Tennis program, including a year-round commitment to improving. We want to win more games and sets. We are looking to win our 1st Team Tennis Match.
Last Season: Finished 4th in STAC West division.
Horseheads Blue Raiders (Class A)
Head Coach: Doug Jacobs, 2nd year

Team Goals: Remain competitive – steal some matches when we can, maybe surprise a couple of teams and to be playing our best tennis for end of season tournament. Lost 8 seniors last season, many of them from the top 10, so we are a lot younger this fall and younger players need to fill those spots.
Last Season: Finished 3rd in STAC West division.
Ithaca Little Red (Class A)
Head Coach: Helen Evans, 5th year (9th overall)
Key Athletes: Mengdi Zeng (8th grade/Singles), Olivia Hao (jr./Singles), Andrea Martinez (sr./Singles), Isadora Kimball (fresh./Singles), Yanna Sopchak (soph./1st Doubles), Jingying Xu (sr./1st Doubles)
Team Goals: Backed by a solid roster of experienced returning players, IHS has the depth, talent, and competitive spirit to make a strong run this season. With STACs and Sectionals in their sights, the team is aiming for a championship and hopes to send as many players as possible all the way to States.
Last Season: Won STAC West division. Defeated Seton in Semi-final, lost to Vestal in STAC Championship. Won Section IV Class A Championship. Marina Okada finished 2nd at Section IV Singles Championship and advanced to the Round of 32 at the NYSPHSAA Singles State Championship. Mengdi Zeng finished 3rd at Section IV Singles Championship and advanced to the Round of 32 at the NYSPHSAA Singles State Championship. Lily Wang / Yeannette Sopchak finished 3rd at Section IV Doubles Championship and advanced to the Round of 32 at the NYSPHSAA Doubles State Championship.

Team Goals: The Binghamton Patriots team is composed of eight returners who will be looking to challenge other teams with solid consistent play. This entire young team (eight freshmen) are looking forward to a rewarding and competitive season.

Team Goals: Although this year's roster is younger and less experienced in key positions, the team is athletic, hardworking, and eager to compete. Every challenge presents an opportunity, and this group is motivated to prove that determination, preparation, and teamwork can overcome experience. As a program, our goals extend well beyond the scoreboard. We strive to develop a love for tennis that lasts a lifetime, have fun every day while celebrating improvement and new opportunities, and create lasting memories through practices, matches, road trips, and team traditions. We also want to compete with confidence, surprise our opponents with our athleticism and determination, support one another through every challenge, and commit to getting better each and every day. With a fresh lineup, healthy competition throughout the roster, and a team-first mindset, the 2026 Maine-Endwell Spartans are eager to embrace the season ahead. While the faces in the lineup may be different, the expectations remain the same: compete with heart, represent Maine-Endwell with pride, and continue building a program that values growth, resilience, and a lifelong love of the game.

Defeated Maine-Endwell to win Section IV Team Tennis Division 1 Championship. Lost to Westhampton Beach (XI) in NYSPHSAA Division 1 Subregional. Aviva Kaminsky / Sophia Sweet won Section IV Doubles Championship and advanced to the Round of 16 at the NYSPHSAA Doubles State Championship. Anastasia Grizelj / Ella Sweet finished 2nd at Section IV Doubles Championship and advanced to the Round of 32 at the NYSPHSAA Doubles State Championship.

Chenango Valley Warriors (Class C)

Team Goals: We are a young team, so our goal for the season is to get better and have fun.
Last Season: Finished 3rd in STAC Central division. Lost to Susquehanna Valley in Section IV Team Tennis Division 2 Semi-final.
Johnson City Wildcats (Class B)
Head Coach: Natalie Pelton, 4th year (8th overall)

Team Goals: Learn and understand the four main components of tennis: Mental, Physical, Technical and Tactical. Transfer knowledge into action by demonstrating learned skills in competitive play. Learn life skills through playing tennis. Actively apply lessons learned in the sport into everyday life.
Last Season: Finished 4th in STAC Metro division. Lost to Chenango Forks in Section IV Team Tennis Division 2 Semi-final.
Owego River Hawks (Class B)
Head Coach: Erica Haray, 11th year

Team Goals: As a program, we continue to grow our numbers through youth camps every summer. As a team, we continue to develop our players, help them become more consistent, and try to win as many individual matches as possible. We also work to encourage a culture of good sportsmanship and love of the game. We look forward to a strong showing at State Quals!
Last Season: Finished 4th in STAC Central division.
Seton Catholic Saints (Class A)
Head Coach: Natalie Knudson, 2nd year

Team Goals: We have a mix of veteran players and new faces. Our goal is to perform well, be the top team in the STAC Central division, and win the STAC Championship. This is a wonderful group of players, and they are incredible to coach. I am proud to have them represent Seton Catholic.
Last Season: Won STAC Central division. Lost to Ithaca in STAC Semi-final. Caroline Knudson won Section IV Singles Championship and advanced to the Round of 32 at the NYSPHSAA Singles State Championship.
Waverly Wolverines (Class B)
Head Coach: Ron Chamberlain, 2nd year (13th overall)
Key Players: Sophia Nierstedt (sr.), Aubrey Everson (soph.), Melanie Bennett, Morgan Chilson, Lilliana Dean, Brielle Dillon, Gabriella Everson, Olivia Stotler
Team Goals: Our primary goals for the season include gaining experience while developing and improving our fundamentals (service game, groundstrokes, and court coverage). We will focus on sportsmanship and perseverance, as well as improving our use of strategy and our understanding of the game.
Last Season: Competed as a club team (games did not count in standings).
East
Chenango Forks Blue Devils (Class C)
Head Coach: Mia Hayes, 3rd year (7th overall)

Team Goals: Our goals for the season include working hard, being comfortable with being uncomfortable, competing our best at sectionals, and HAVE FUN!
Last Season: Finished 2nd in STAC Central division. Won Section IV Class C Championship. Defeated Johnson City in Semi-final and Susquehanna Valley to win Section IV Team Tennis Division 2 Championship. Lost to Scotia-Glenville (II) in NYSPHSAA Division 2 Subregional.
Norwich Purple Tornado (Class B)
Head Coach: Nikki Brooks, 28th year
Key Players: Riley Wolford (jr./Singles), Rori Gates (sr./Singles), Elle Waters (8th grade/Singles), Finley Farrow (sr./Singles)
Team Goals: I’m hoping every player makes improvements in their technique and their ability to compete. I’m hoping all players enjoy the sport and decide to continue playing.
Last Season: Finished 2nd in STAC East division.
Susquehanna Valley Sabers (Class C)
Head Coach: Amanda Spottek, 8th year
Key Players: Audrey Packer (jr./Singles), Madelyn Zitzmann (sr./Singles), Heather Seidel (sr./Singles)
Team Goals: SV is in a rebuilding year as the majority of our team is composed of 9th, 10th and 11th grade players with a lot of enthusiasm, but limited court experience. Our goal will be to finish the season with a .500 record as a team. Individually, we would like to send a singles player or a doubles team into the second day of sectionals, as the last few seasons we have been out of the first round.
Last Season: Won STAC East division. Lost to Vestal in STAC Semi-final. Defeated Chenango Valley in Semi-final, lost to Chenango Forks in Section IV Team Tennis Division 2 Championship.
Windsor Black Knights (Class C)
Head Coach: Rebecca Molloy, 3rd year
Key Players: Dacia Whiting (1st Doubles)
Team Goals: Become a confident and connected team by improving every day, supporting one another, and learning to trust ourselves on the court.
