Team Goals: Our goal is always to be playing our best soccer at the end of the season. We want to compete for a STAC West division title and put ourselves in a position to make a deep run in sectionals. We have a great mix of experienced players and young talent, and I think our ceiling is very high. More importantly, we want to become a team that is tough, connected, and plays for each other. We want our players to embrace their roles, compete every day, and understand that everyone contributes to our success. If we continue to improve, stay healthy, and develop that team-first mentality, there is no reason we shouldn't be competing for a Section IV Class AAA Championship at the end of the season.
Last Season: Finished 3rd in STAC West division. Defeated Elmira in Semi-final and tied Ithaca to win Section IV Class AAA Championship (co-champions). Did not advance to the state tournament due to losing in penalty kicks.
Elmira Express (Class AAA)
Head Coach: Zachary Sarno, 19th year

Team Goals: The last few years anyone who has watched us knows how young of a team we have been, and that will continue on this year overall, with five seniors, one junior, and the rest underclassman. As we have gotten more experienced and grown as a team, we hope to continue to build on all that and improve as a team. Improve with our togetherness on and off the field and then lead to results on the field.
Last Season: Finished 4th in STAC West division. Lost to Corning in Section IV Class AAA Semi-final.
Horseheads Blue Raiders (Class AA)
Head Coach: Lee Spencer, 8th year (21st overall)

Team Goals: Compete for a Section IV Class AA Championship.
Last Season: Finished 2nd in STAC West division. Defeated Vestal to win Section IV Class AA Championship. Lost to Warwick (IX) in NYSPHSAA Class AA Regional Final.
Ithaca Little Red (Class AAA)
Head Coach: DJ Roberts, 4th year (10th overall)
Key Players: Sonia Enns (sr./Forward), Elsa Weatherspoon (sr./Fullback), Sadie Hajjar (jr./Center Half), Camila De La Garza (jr./Wing)
Team Goals: This is a year of rebuilding, so the goal is to keep every healthy and safe with such a demanding schedule. Acclimatize new players into our culture and versatile system. Nonetheless, we want to be exciting to watch regardless of results.
Last Season: Won STAC West division. Defeated Chenango Valley in Semi-final and Maine-Endwell to win STAC Championship. Tied Corning to win Section IV Class AAA Championship (co-champions). Advanced to state tournament due to winning in penalty kicks. Lost to Commack (XI) in NYSPHSAA Class AAA Regional Final.
Metro
Binghamton Patriots (Class AA)
Head Coach: Ashlee Power, 3rd year
Key Players: Durriyyah Forbes (soph./Midfield, Forward), Maia El-Begearmi (soph./Midfield)
Team Goals: We have many first-time varsity players and a number of 9th and 10th graders on our team. We are looking to work on team chemistry and communication. We also are working to transition quickly from defense to offense.
Last Season: Did not field a varsity team.
Maine-Endwell Spartans (Class A)
Head Coach: Mark Lee, 5th year (6th overall)
Key Players: Laura Napierala (sr.), Kiara Neal (jr.), Ella Winn (sr.)
Team Goals: Last year, we won our first sectional title in 16 years. We feel the program is headed in the right direction and want to continue building on that success. Our goal is to grow as a program, maintain our success on the field, and continue preparing our girls for the next phases of their lives off the field.
Last Season: Won STAC Metro division. Defeated Oneonta in Semi-final, lost to Ithaca in STAC Championship. Defeated Seton in Semi-final and Waverly to win Section IV Class A Championship. Lost to New Hartford (III) in NYSPHSAA Class A Regional Final.
Union-Endicott Tigers (Class AA)
Head Coach: Lori Kosick, 1st year (6th overall)
Key Players: Tori Elliot (sr./Midfield), Mora Dannibale (sr./Goalkeeper)
Team Goals: We are a young team with a lot of potential, and we hope to continue building a strong team community, developing our tactical and technical skills, and working toward making it to sectionals.
Last Season: Finished 3rd in STAC Metro division. Lost to Vestal in Section IV Class AA Semi-final.
Vestal Golden Bears (Class AA)
Co-Head Coaches: Gina Talbut, 8th year (12th overall) and Aly Anderson, 5th year (10th overall)

Team Goals: Work together as a team, compete hard in every game, and work our way to the sectional finals!
Last Season: Finished 2nd in STAC West Metro division. Defeated Union-Endicott in Semi-final, lost to Horseheads in Section IV Class AA Championship.

Chenango Valley Warriors (Class B)
Head Coach: Devon Lash, 4th year (10+ overall)

Team Goals: Be a team that takes it one day at a time, one practice at a time, and one game at a time. Be loud, be proud, be positive, be together, and be Warriors.
Last Season: Finished 2nd in STAC Central division. Lost to Waverly in Section IV Class A Semi-final.
Owego River Hawks (Class A)
Head Coach: Katelyn Simpson, 2nd year (9th overall)
Key Players: Ashlyn Dalton (sr./Midfield, Forward), Kira Coppage (jr./Midfield), Leah Clark (jr./Defender), Lilliana Pelifian (8th grade/Forward)
Team Goals: After a challenging season last year, our team has embraced the opportunity to grow and improve. Our goal this season is to compete for a spot in Sectionals. We have a talented and determined group of young players who push one another to get better every day. The resilience, effort, and dedication this group has already demonstrated gives us confidence that we are headed in the right direction!
Last Season: Finished 5th in STAC Central division. Did not qualify for sectionals.
Seton Catholic Saints (Class B – combined with Windsor)
Head Coach: Ehrlich Chery, 4th year

Team Goals: Keep improving technically, develop our young core, qualify for sectionals, and go as far as possible!

Waverly Wolverines (Class A)
Head Coach: Tara Hogan, 11th year (16th overall)

Team Goals: Hoping to see our players grow as individual athletes and as teammates. We have a very young team and a wide range of talent. Hoping to see the team work well together as a unit. We want to see players acclimate to new challenges and build each other up. We hope to make it to Section IV Championship again this year for Class A.
Last Season: Finished 3rd in STAC Central division. Defeated Chenango Valley in Semi-final, lost to Maine-Endwell in Section IV Class A Championship.
East
Chenango Forks Blue Devils (Class B)
Head Coach: Matt Wood, 2nd year (10th overall)
Key Players: Piper Collins (jr./Goalkeeper), Aubrey McMullen (jr.), Katie Black (jr.), Molly Derr (jr.), Maggie O’Connor (sr.), Molly Spalik (soph.), Grace Hogan (fresh.), Maya Rullo (8th grade), Ceci Kasmarcik (jr.)
Team Goals: After finishing the fall 2025 campaign as State Semi-finalists, we are preparing to make another State Final Four run.
Last Season: Won STAC Central division. Lost to Ithaca in STAC Semi-final. Defeated Sidney in Semi-final and Watkins Glen to win Section IV Class B Championship. Defeated Canton (X) in Regional Final, lost to Lavonia (V) in NYSPHSAA Class B State Semi-final.
Norwich Purple Tornado (Class A)
Head Coach: Katelyn Dowdall, 1st year
Key Players: Josey Ryan (sr.), Quinn Terry (jr.), Kerragan Reid (jr.), Jillian Tefft (fresh.), Abby Colosi (soph.)
Team Goals: We want to go into each game confident in our preparation and ability to compete with each team we face. We want our girls to believe in their abilities, and we want to build a program into one where we can compete for championships.
Last Season: Finished 3rd in STAC East division. Did not qualify for sectionals
Oneonta Yellowjackets (Class B)
Head Coach: Jerry Mackey, 23rd year (31st overall)
Key Players: Nora Sander (soph.), Lyla Hinchey (soph.), Jenevie Gallusser (jr.), Carly Stamas (jr.), Cassidy Howard (sr.), Gianna Ferreira-Reyes (sr./Goalkeeper)
Team Goals: We would like to compete for the STAC East division title, which will be a difficult challenge with Chenango Forks moving to the East and a tough Susquehanna Valley squad still there as well. Ideally, we are playing our best soccer at the end of October and will try and be a factor during Section IV Class B Sectional and State Time.
Last Season: Won STAC East division. Lost to Maine-Endwell in STAC Semi-final. Lost to Watkins Glen in Section IV Class B Semi-final.
Susquehanna Valley Sabers (Class B)
Head Coach: Landey James, 5th year (17th overall)
Key Players: Ella Kariam (sr./Center Back), Ava Curinga (sr./Left Back), Quyn Remza (sr./Midfield), Addison Ruffo (sr./Midfield), Ava Kariam (soph./Forward, Midfield), Jocelyn Brusso (soph./Wing), Lanai James (8th grade/Forward, Midfield)
Team Goals: We want to defend as a unit this year and be a much better TEAM than we were last year. We underachieved, but we are prepared to take it one game at a time this season with the hope of being a well-oiled machine by the time October rolls around. We want to play for the STAC Small School Championship and make a deep run into sectionals.
Last Season: Finished 2nd in STAC East division. Did not qualify for sectionals.
