West
Corning Hawks (Class A)
Head Coach: Chris Clark, 9th year (22nd overall)
Key Players: Isaiah KIbler (jr.), Hunter Akins (soph.)
Team Goals: We are a young team with tons of potential. Our goal this year is to put in a long season of work and preparation. Although the regular season may not go our way, we are hoping for constant approvement all year and surprise some teams at Sectionals this year. We think we have some young guys on this squad who are going to improve very quickly.
Last Season: Finished tied for 4th in STAC West division. Finished 6th at Section IV Class A Championship.
Elmira Express (Class A)
Head Coach: Chris Sayers, 23rd year

Team Goals: We hope that another STAC West title is within reach. We will need consistent scoring from our underclassmen, and our practices have been designed to minimize mistakes and keeping the game as simple as possible.
Last Season: Won STAC West division. Finished 3rd at STAC Championship. Won Section IV Class A Championship.
Horseheads Blue Raiders (Class A)
Head Coach: Christine Fischer, 5th year

Team Goals: Our team is fairly young this year, but our goals are simple - to win! Yes, this means matches. We would love to see an undefeated match record. Another STAC West division title would be nice as it’s been a couple of years. This would put us in good position with a chance at the STAC Championship or Sectional IV Class A Championship. However, we believe that winning on the course starts with winning student-athletes who are striving to be successful in all areas of life. Our goals for winning go beyond the golf course. Just as importantly, we seek to work hard, create positive relationships, help others, and donate our time and energy to our families, friends, and community.
Last Season: Finished 3rd in STAC West division. Finished tied for 4th at Section IV Class A Championship.
Ithaca Little Red (Class A)
Head Coach: Dan Miller, 27th year
Key Players: Vaughn Bailey (sr.), Morgan Swarthout (jr.), Dylan Sumner (jr.), Brody Hufnagel (jr.)
Team Goals: Win the STAC West division so our entire team can compete for a STAC Championship.
Last Season: Finished 2nd in STAC West division. Finished tied for 7th at Section IV Class A Championship.
Metro
Binghamton Patriots (Class A)
Head Coach: Andy Hull, 5th year (11th overall)
Key Players: Rocco Silsbee (jr.), Max Lisio (sr.), Ty Miller (soph.), Finn Newton-McManus (jr.), Brayden Walker (sr.), Josh Mallery (sr.)
Team Goals: Win the DiNunzio Tournament, the STAC Metro division, the Section IV Class A Championship, and the STAC Championship. Individually, qualify for Section IV Individual Tournament.
Last Season: Won STAC Metro division. Finished 2nd at STAC Championship and tied for 2nd at Section IV Class A Championship. Brady McManus won Section IV Class A Championship. McManus finished 2nd at Section IV Medalist Tournament and tied for 65th at NYSPHSAA State Championship.
Maine-Endwell Spartans (Class A)
Head Coach: Rob Krowiak, 7th year
Key Players: Chase Buckley (sr.), Matt Leniek (jr.), Frankie Shattuck (jr.)
Team Goals: Compete for a STAC Metro division championship and have a chance at another STAC Championship and Sectional IV Class A Championship.
Last Season: Finished 2nd in STAC Metro division. Won STAC Championship as a Wild Card. Finished tied for 2nd at Section IV Class A Championship. Blaise Brixner won STAC Championship. Chase Buckley finished 3rd, Brixner tied for 4th, and Tino Shattuck 9th at Section IV Medalist Tournament. Brixner finished 53rd, Buckley tied for 59th, and Shattuck tied for 80th at NYSPHSAA State Championship.
Union-Endicott Tigers (Class A)
Head Coach: Matt Morley, 10th year (19th overall)
Key Players: Ryan Schappert (sr.), Josh Williams (sr.), Alexander Roberts (sr.), Matthew Ciotoli (sr.), Michael Castoro (soph.)
Team Goals: Process goals each shot, but always compete for STAC and Section IV Class A Championships.
Last Season: Finished 4th in STAC Metro division. Finished tied for 7th at Section IV Class A Championship.
Vestal Golden Bears (Class A)
Head Coach: Nick Barney, 5th year

Team Goals: Learn and get better every day.
Last Season: Finished 3rd in STAC Metro division. Finished 2nd at STAC Championship. Finished tied for 4th at Section IV Class A Championship. Max Hatala and Teddy Brosius finished tied for 4th at Section IV Medalist Tournament. Hatala and Brosius finished tied for 42nd at NYSPHSAA State Championship.
Central
Chenango Valley Warriors (Class C)
Head Coach: Patrick Collins, 10th year (21st overall)

Team Goals: We would like to repeat as Sections IV Class C Champions. Also, qualify as a team for the STAC Championship.
Last Season: Finished 2nd in STAC Central division. Won Section IV Class C Championship.
Johnson City Wildcats (Class B)
Head Coach: Mike Patterson, 1st year (10th overall)
Key Players: Renner Deemie (soph.), Gabe Stallman (sr.), Henry Zelesnikar (7th grade), Kasen Dobransky (7th grade)
Team Goals: Compete in every match, lower our putting totals per contest, and improve our team’s overall scoring average from last year.
Last Season: Finished 5th in STAC Metro division. Finished tied for 5th at Section IV Class B Championship.
Owego River Hawks (Class B)
Head Coach: Dylan Nardocci, 1st year
Key Players: Wyatt Prentiss (jr.), Hudson Brigham (fresh.)
Team Goals: I want my team to go 50% on wins on matches this year. I think we have the capability to do it, but I also don’t want to set the bar too low. I want to learn enough about this team and the current players on it to come into next year with a more defined goal next year.
Last Season: Finished 4th in STAC Central division. Finished 3rd at Section IV Class B Championship.
Seton Catholic Saints (Class B)
Head Coach: Jason Gosney, 2nd year
Key Players: Mark Redmore (sr.), Cooper Witkin (soph.), Jack Bouton (sr.), Anthony Coppola (fresh.), Johnny Knudson (8th grade)
Team Goals: Repeat as STAC Central division winners, win Sectionals, and be in the hunt coming down the stretch for the STAC Championship! Continue to develop all the young talent in the Seton Golf Program.
Last Season: Won STAC Central division. Finished 6th at STAC Championship and 2nd at Section IV Class B Championship.
Waverly Wolverines (Class B)
Head Coach: Marc Felt, 3rd year (6th overall)
Key Players: Griff Walter (jr.), Daniel Brady (jr.), Silas Bennett (8th grade), Daniel Fischer (sr.)
Team Goals: Our goal is to continue building the program and becoming more competitive throughout STAC. Just a few years ago, Waverly struggled to get enough golfers to field a full team, and this year we had over 20 kids interested in playing. We want to keep that momentum going, improve throughout the season, and compete in every match. We definitely have a few kids who could qualify for the postseason. With a young group, we’re also focused on gaining experience and continuing to build something that can be successful for years to come.
Last Season: Finished 5th in STAC Central division. Finished 4th at Section IV Class B Championship.
East
Chenango Forks Blue Devils (Class C)
Head Coach: Steve Samsel, 1st year
Key Players: Jack Hull (sr.), Camden Ingerson (jr), Julian Sinclair (fresh.), Connor Murphy (soph.), Jackson Miner (soph.), David Emmons (soph.), Jack Donovan (sr.) Trevor Williams (sr.)
Team Goals: One of the season goals we have would be to have a strong team scoring from our top six in all dual competitions. I believe our top 2 guys (Jack Hull and Camden Ingerson…who will push each other for the 1 & 2 spot all season) are going to give us a chance each match to get a medalist placing. But to succeed as a team we will need the 3-6 guys to play well. And I believe they are capable of shooting a competitive score any night. Julian Sinclair and Connor Murphy continue to battle each other for the 3, 4 spots. That really helps them each day to get better. At the 5, 6 position we are lucky to have 4 players competing daily to make the top 6. They are David Emmons, Jackson Miner, Trevor Williams and Jack Donovan. Emmons and Miner (both juniors) are currently holding onto those positions. With that said, I believe our depth could help us out as the season progresses. With any luck, growth and strong play when it counts, a division contender could be possible. But we are only really emphasizing controlling only what we can, and that’s ourselves. We talk about this sport as a game of recovery and not letting one bad shot, or one bad hole ruin a good round. So, it’s going to be interesting to see how to kids play, react to a new coach and gel together as a team…it is really after all, a team sport.
Last Season: Finished 3rd in STAC Central division. Finished 4th at Section IV Class C Tournament.
Norwich Purple Tornado (Class B)
Head Coach: David Branham, 13th year
Key Players: Brevin Bennett (fresh.), Matthew Brunick (jr.), Charlie Smith (jr.), Jacob Lobdell (sr.), Payne Skillin (8th grade), Kinnon Bennett (7th grade)
Team Goals: Win the STAC East division, the Section IV Class B Championship, and send at least two players to the Section IV State Team next spring.
Last Season: Won STAC East division. Finished 4th at STAC Championship. Won Section IV Class B Championship. Brevin Bennett won Section IV Class B and Individual Medalist Tournament Championships, and finished tied for 14th at NYSPHSAA State Championship.
Oneonta Yellowjackets (Class C)
Head Coach: George Foti, 6th year
Key Players: Landon Weaver (jr.), Kason Miller (fresh.), Sean Murray (soph.), Will Daum (fresh.), Blake Parker (fresh.)
Team Goals: Our top goal is to win the STAC East division title and the Section IV Class C Championship, while having fun along the way.
Last Season: Finished 2nd in STAC East division. Finished 5th at STAC Championship as a Wild Card. Finished 3rd at Section IV Class C Championship. Kason Miller won Section IV Class C Championship.
Susquehanna Valley Sabers (Class B)
Head Coach: Evan Ligeikis, 7th year
Key Players: Carson Geiser (8th grade), Lincoln Bailey (8th grade)
Team Goals: Our team goals for this year are more process based rather than results based. We realize we are young and inexperienced, so we need to work hard every day to improve our skills and course knowledge. Practice makes progress.
Last Season: Finished 3rd in STAC East division. Did not compete at Section IV Class B Championship.
Windsor Black Knights (Class B)
Head Coach: Joel Bennett, 6th year
Key Players: Dylan Terrell (sr.), Jack Wharton (jr.), Alex Young (jr.)
Team Goals: Be a .500 team.
Last Season: Finished 3rd in STAC East division. Finished 3rd at Section IV Class B Championship.
